Marco Giltrap has won the 2026 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Pro championship after a dominant final round at the Singapore Street Circuit.
Giltrap was fourth in practice, then took pole position for both races in qualifying and set a new series lap record around the street course.
He led Race 1 from lights to flag for a comfortable win. Race 2 was harder. Starting from pole, he came under immediate pressure from his title rival and had to manage two Safety Car restarts. He held on through the closing laps to win the race, the round, and the championship.
“I can’t thank the team enough, who have been behind me from day one,” Giltrap said. “So much effort has gone into this season, and to be able to take the honours at the end of the year feels very special.”
The title caps a standout season for Giltrap and Team Porsche New Zealand.
